Over 120 years of family entrepreneurship at the heart of the Saudi oil industry.

The Alghamdi family has been building and doing business in Saudi Arabia for more than a century. Sheikh Adnan's father, Mohammed Ali Fadel Al-Ghamdi, was one of the leading works contractors of Ras Tanura — the heart of the global oil industry, home to the world's largest oil terminal. As early as 1974, he was officially authorised by the Emirate of Ras Tanura to operate within the restricted work areas of Saudi Aramco — a level of trust reserved for a very small circle of partners.

Sheikh Adnan took over the family business and expanded it into new sectors of commerce and industry — notably the distribution of telecommunications equipment and accessories in the Eastern Province (Al-Khobar, Jubail), with its own logistics fleet and retail network. Shining Technical Com. operates four locations in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: the Al-Khobar branch, the Al-Jubail branch, the Al-Awda Complex branch, and a dedicated wholesale warehouse — also located at the Al-Awda Complex — serving the whole Kingdom and the Gulf states. The family also owns Gulf Castle Transport (مؤسسة قلعة الخليج للنقليات), its transport and logistics establishment.

In June 2025, Sheikh Adnan invested €100M in Lenergy and became its Chairman. Drawing on forty years of experience as an investor in the Middle East energy industry, he carries the group's long-term vision: making Lenergy the energy bridge between Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
